NASHVILLE's GRAND OLE OPRY unveiled TODAY (7/9) an historical feature film and custom-built theater, The Circle Room, as part of its new backstage tour attraction. The film, hosted by OPRY members GARTH BROOKS and TRISHA YEARWOOD, gives fans a glimpse of the venue's archival footage of performances of Country music's iconic songs over the years. BROOKS and YEARWOOD gave an exclusive tour of the new theater, and shared clips from the film, on NBC-TV's "TODAY" show. View that segment here.
The Circle Room is part of a $12 million Opry House expansion and renovation project aimed at enhancing the guest experience at the venue that houses the historic radio show. Find more information about the OPRY here.
