Jon Ballard Joining KOZZ/Reno, NV For Mornings

Jon Ballard Waking Up Reno Starting August 5th

LOTUS RADIO Classic Rock KOZZ/RENO is welcoming JON BALLARD to mornings replacing TINA SMASH, who relocated to NEW BERN, NC last month for family reasons (NET NEWS 6/4/19). 

BALLARD, a SEATTLE native, was most recently PD/Afternoons for LOTUS sister station Active Rock KKBZ (105.1 THE BLAZE)/FRESNO (NET NEWS 3/29/19) and has experience doing mornings at rockers WBIG/WASHINGTON, DC and KZZP/PHOENIX, AZ. BALLARD also has experience in Programming, Web Content, Social Media and Imaging.

 KOZZ OM/PD JAVE PATTERSON said, “JON BALLARD's  unconventional on-air delivery, ability to distill creative topical content into intriguing breaks with his warped sense of humor, along with his prior Programming and management acumen will be a welcome addition to our veteran staff of professionals. BALLARD will officially be in the building on JULY 29th and will start rocking KOZZ in the morning on AUGUST 5th.
