NAB Ups Zamir Ahmed To VP/Media Relations

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS has upped Dir./Media Relations ZAMIR AHMED to VP/Media Relations. AHMED joined the NAB in FEBRUARY 2011 after serving as Deputy Press Secretary for the House Committee on Small Business, and was upped from Manager, Media Relations at the NAB in JULY 2014 and to Dir., Media Relations in JULY 2016; he previously served as an intern to Sen. DIANNE FEINSTEIN (D-CA).

He will continue to report to EVP/Communications DENNIS WHARTON and work closely with SVP/Communications ANN MARIE CUMMING.

“We’re pleased to reward ZAMIR for his loyalty to NAB, his intellect and strong work ethic, and his excellent writing skills,” said WHARTON. “He’s a terrific asset to our organization and to free and local broadcasting.”
