Emmis Ups Traci Thompson To SVP/Human Resources

TRACI THOMSON has been promoted to SVP/Human Resources at EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS.

Chairman/CEO JEFF SMULYAN wrote in a staff memo, "TRACI is an integral member of the EMMIS senior leadership team and has played a critical role in all of the actions we’ve taken over the past several years to reinvent EMMIS. Today’s promotion also sets the stage for the important role TRACI will play in the months ahead with the formation of MEDIACO HOLDING and the next steps on our path to invest in the future of EMMIS. Over her fifteen years with EMMIS, TRACI has been a source of wisdom, development, and support for so many members of our team, first, as Dir./Employee Services and for the past decade as VP/Human Resources."
