The JAMES M. COX FOUNDATION has awarded a $50,000 grant to the OMEGA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION for the construction of the HOPE CENTER FOR FAMILIES in DAYTON, OH.
COX MEDIA GROUP OHIO Market VP ROB ROHR said, “DAYTON is leveraging economic momentum as a catalyst to build the workforce of the future. The HOPE CENTER’s mission is to mitigate the educational, economic and health disparities for low-income DAYTON families and will provide a strong foundation to ensure that all our citizens can participate in this new economy. COX is proud to help make this special place a reality.”
“We are so grateful for this grant from the JAMES M. COX FOUNDATION. The funds will be used to support the fundraising campaign for the HOPE CENTER FOR FAMILIES,” said OMEGA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION Pres. VANESSA WARD. “With this gift, we will be closer to closing the fundraising gap and my hope is that we will be able to announce a groundbreaking in the near future.”
