Katie Dean Upped To SVP/Promotion at MCA Nashville

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP NASHVILLE has promoted KATIE DEAN from VP to SVP/Promotion for MCA RECORDS NASHVILLE.

DEAN has spent almost 15 years with UMG NASHVILLE, and previously held positions with ARISTOMEDIA, the COUNTY MUSIC ASSOCIATION, LYRIC STREET RECORDS and MEDIABASE. In 2015, DEAN was named head of MCA NASHVILLE’s promotion team, and her accomplishments since then have included back-to-back hits for JORDAN DAVIS, GEORGE STRAIT’s first Top 20 single in five years, as well as, five #1 hits for SAM HUNT, including “Body Like A Back Road,” which spent 25 weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
