RADIO MILWAUKEE Triple A WYMS (88NINE RADIO MILWAUKEE)/MILWAUKEE has launched a new six-episode podcast on the city's hip-hop history and 1980s Black culture.

"BACKSPIN," hosted by TYRONE "DJ BIZZON" MILLER and 88NINE MD JUSTIN BARNEY, explores the search for what qualifies as the first MILWAUKEE hip-hop recording, and includes talks with ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT's SPEECH and RUN-DMC's DARRYL MCDANIELS. “The series is about so much more than the first song,” said MILLER. “It's about the journey of getting to that song.”
