ENTERCOM Alternative KROQ/LOS ANGELES afternoon hosts STRYKER and KLEIN gave away SMASHING PUMPKINS tickets to caller 20 -- a man named TOM -- who was stuck in traffic and as it turns out, having a heart attack. TOM still laughed when discussing his predicament with KLEIN, who renamed him “DEAD TOM” and joked that if he died they’d award the tickets to someone else. 

After the call, TOM finally made it to a nearby emergency room, where the staff diagnosed the heart attack and rushed him into surgery. He is now recovering in the hospital and on the road to recovery.
