  THE WASHINGTON POST s launching a podcast miniseries examining the origin story of the moon landing.
  
  "MOONRISE," hosted by LILLIAN CUNNINGHAM, traces the space program from its pre-history, including the Cold War and the beginnings of science fiction, to the moon landing 50 years ago. The first episode was posted TODAY (7/19) with weekly episodes beginning JULY 30th.
