WIRK/West Palm Beach Rebranded As ‘New Country 103-1’

Just a little over a month after his arrival at HUBBARD BROADCASTING Country WIRK/WEST PALM BEACH (NET NEWS 6/17), OM/Brand Content Dir. BRUCE LOGAN has rebranded the station as “NEW COUNTRY 103-1,” effective today (7/22). The station is using the slogan “SOUTH FLORIDA’s #1 For New Country.”

As previously reported (NET NEWS 6/3), the station’s new morning show is “TIM & CHELSEA” (TIM LEARY and CHELSEA TAYLOR), and LOGAN is looking for additional full-time talent. Says LOGAN, “If there is someone out there who would like to join our team, help build NEW COUNTRY 103-1 into a powerhouse Country station in SOUTH FLORIDA, work for HUBBARD BROADCASTING [which] believes in local talent and investing in the brands, and live in paradise, they should go here and apply."
