New AdsWizz Software Helps Track 'Play Later' Podcasts

ADSWIZZ has enhanced its Ad Insertion Software (AIS) to fully support the Remote Audio Data standard (RAD) developed by NPR, adding features that offer more flexibility and accuracy around measuring podcast listening that aligns with the NPR-supported framework. This software update helps track podcasts that are downloaded and listened to in ‘play later’ mode.
The Remote Audio Data (RAD) framework, a method for sharing listening metrics from podcast applications back to publishers, is voluntary, available to the entire audio industry and is essential for fueling podcast growth due to the nature of podcast listening. With over 50% of all podcasts downloaded in a play later mode, the RAD standard complements traditional statistics and provides insights into how podcasts are consumed after they have been downloaded.
Publishers and mobile application developers can start to harness the benefits of RAD by integrating ADSWIZZ’s Ad Insertion Suite or ADSWIZZ Mobile SDK.
