Famed Talent Agent John Ferriter Passes On

ALL ACCESS sends out condolences the family and friends of longtime WILLIAM MORRIS AGENCY talent JOHN FERRITER, who went on to work at OCTAGON ENTERTAINMENT before co-founding the management and production company THE ALTERNATIVE in 2015, passed on last week (7/25) at CEDARS SINAI HOSPITAL in LOS ANGELES from complications from pancreatitis. FERRITER was 59.

FERRITER's clients included such notables as JIMMY KIMMEL, DICK CLARK, ARSENIO HALL, RYAN SEACREST, PIERS MORGAN, ADAM CAROLLA, CARSON DALY, MARIO LOPEZ, NANCY O’DELL, MARIE OSMOND, DR. DREW PINSKY, ERIN BURNETT, GRATEFUL DEAD frontman JERRY GARCIA, and producer GLENN WEISS among many others. 

FERRITER also had a musical career performing with two bands, including the Santa Barbara-based Stingrays where he was a front man. The STINGRAYS opened for THE BANGLES, R.E.M., MARIA McKEE and GUNS & ROSES.
