Third Annual MBA Radio Talent Institute, Part Of National Radio Talent System, Begins Today

The Third Annual MBA RADIO TALENT INSTITUTE at NORTHWEST MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY in MARYSVILLE, MO kicks off TODAY (7/29) with ZIMMER RADIO and Marketing Group President JOHN ZIMMMER leading the opening session.
Over the following 10 days, ZIMMER will be joined by over 30 broadcasters from the state and region including MITCH HOLTHUS, Play-by-Play announcer of the KC CHIEFS. And, students will visit the ENTERCOM studios in KANSAS CITY, where Regional Market Pres. DAVE ALPERT and the sports broadcasters of 610 Sports KCSP will interface with the students.
Sales sessions will be led by ALPHA MEDIA/OMAHA Regional Pres. GEORGE PELLETIER, EAGLE COMMUNICATIONS/ST. JOSEPH GM DOUG SCHMITZ, and MID-WEST FAMILY BROADCASTING/SPRINGFIELD, GM SCOTT MEIER facilitating each student who becomes certified as RADIO MARKETING PROFESSIONALS by the RAB.
Programming and on-air sessions are led by iHeartMEDIA/St. Louis SVP/Programming JULES RILEY, ENTERCOM Hot AC KZPT (99.7 THE POINT)/KANSAS CITY PD LEIGH McNABB, ENTERCOM Talk KMBZ/KANSAS CITY PD ALAN FURST, Dir./HUBBARD RADIO ST. LOUIS Brand Content SCOTT RODDY, CUMULUS Talker KCMO/KANSAS CITY APD PETE MUNDO along with other programmers and air talent. CUMULUS/KANSAS CITY MIDWEST Regional VP DONNA BAKER delivers the closing session ten days from now.
