Just shy of 30 years of being on the air in NASHVILLE, MIKE CREEL aka "SQUEEGEE," has called it a day. His last day on CROMWELL Alternative WBUZ (102.9 THE BUZZ)/NASHVILLE was this past FRIDAY, JULY 26th.
CREEL started his radio adventure in NASHVILLE at WGFX when it was the Classic Rocker in town, and stayed through the merger with 103 KDF ROCK for 12 years, where he worked on air, and where Traffic SQUEEGEE was born working with the BIG DAVE AND DOOK SHOW. The next move was to iHEART's WNRQ (105.9 THE ROCK). For the past seven years he has served as midday host and music coordinator at 102.9 THE BUZZ.
"I'd like to thank everyone who gave me a shot at being part of something great in NASHVILLE. It's been a great run having fun on the air and getting to have a ton of life experiences. I'm not done with radio, yet... I'm a lifer. I'm really stoked about my next move and can't wait to share with everyone what that's going to be."
