Freelance reporter ALLISON KEYES has been named a WASHINGTON-based Correspondent for CBS NEWS RADIO.
KEYES has been heard in her freelance capacity on CBS NEWS RADIO since 2014 after serving as a reporter and "TELL ME MORE WITH MICHEL MARTIN" guest host for NPR and a reporter for WCBS-A and WNYC-A-F/NEW YORK and ABC NEWS' "GOOD MORNING AMERICA" and "WORLD NEWS TONIGHT." As a freelancer, she has reported for HUBBARD News WTOP/WASHINGTON, SMITHSONIAN Magazine, and TV ONE. She has won over 20 journalism awards, including the NABJ Salute to Excellence Award in 2014 for coverage of the 50th anniversary of the March on WASHINGTON, and the NEWSWOMEN'S CLUB OF NEW YORK Front Page Award and, with the WCBS staff, the NEW YORK STATE AP Broadcast Award for coverage of the 9/11 attacks.
KEYES will be covering the 2020 presidential election and will also focus on covering stories on diversity and equality issues.
