Longtime CORUS News-Talk CHED-A/EDMONTON "CHED MORNING NEWS" host BRUCE BOWIE is retiring from the station, wrapping up a 47-year career in radio on AUGUST 30th.

BOWIE worked at CKSA-A/LLOYDMINSTER, CJOC-A/LETHBRIDGE, and CHAB-A/MOOSE JAW before his first 12-1/2-year run at CHED. After stints at sister CKNG (KING FM)/EDMONTON, CISS-A/CALGARY, and a 21-year run in mornings at CISN/EDMONTON, BOWIE took over mornings at CHED in 2010.
