iHEARTMEDIA LOUISVILLE hosted its first Community Breakfast on FRIDAY (8/2) at the MUHAMMAD ALI CENTER in LOUISVILLE, bringing together over 125 community leaders, business partners and non-profit organizations. News-Talk WHAS-A host TERRY MEINERS hosted the event, with Mayor GREG FISCHER as keynote speaker.
“Thanks so much to iHEARTMEDIA for making this compassionate commitment to LOUISVILLE,” said FISCHER. “Compassion is good for business and it’s good for our city and our country. I want to thank the folks at iHEARTMEDIA LOUISVILLE for supporting our vibrant and active non-profit community.”
The iHEARTMEDIA cluster is also offering in-kind media support in the form of PSA schedules to community partners, this year including 2NOT1, NEW ROOTS, INC. and FAMILY COMMUNITY CLINIC and to be expanded to 12 partners under the theme "Kids: Heart of KENTUCKIANA" for the 2019-20 season. “Each campaign will include PSAs, on-air personality endorsements, as well as streaming and digital placement,” said Region President EARL JONES. “We are committed to using our resources to amplify the message of these organizations that work so hard for our community.”
