RYEN RUSSILLO has officially exited ESPN after 14 years with the network to join BILL SIMMONS' THE RINGER full-time. RUSSILLO, who has been hosting the "DUAL THREAT" football podcast and appearing on "THE BILL SIMMONS PODCAST" for THE RINGER since last AUGUST while continuing his work for ESPN, confirmed the rumors of his move in a tweet late MONDAY; SIMMONS later tweeted additional confirmation and the news that RUSSILLO will be starting at THE RINGER in SEPTEMBER on an exclusive basis.
The move brings to an end his podcasts "THE RUSSILLO SHOW" and the podcast version of his former ESPN RADIO show "SVP AND RUSSILLO" with SCOTT VAN PELT. RUSSILLO exited his full-time ESPN position in DECEMBER 2017 but continued to host his solo podcast, a continuation of his old ESPN RADIO show.
So...the news is out. I’m headed to @ringer

Want to thank @espn for the last 14 years.
I grew up on @SportsCenter and then to be on the actual set, my name on a show...have to remind myself at times how cool that is
Excited to try and limit Celts talk to 30mins w/ @BillSimmonsHappy to confirm that @ryenarussillo will be working exclusively for @ringer for all multi-media stuff starting in September. Will be a regular on my BS Pod as well. Subscribe to his “Dual Threat” podcast here because there’s going to be a lot of them. https://t.co/rUq0ZfPiw6
