EMPIRE BROADCASTING SYSTEM Triple A WRNR/ANNAPOLIS-BALTIMORE is moving nights/fill-in MIKE ONDAYKO to middays, succeeding CARRIE NEUMAN. Before WRNR, ONDAYKO may be best known as one-third of WIYY (98ROCK)/BALTIMORE’s KIRK, MARK AND LOPEZ morning show.
“It has become hard to find, in today’s radio environment, someone like MIKE ONDAYKO who is already on staff, gets what we do and totally enjoys every moment of every show.” PD BOB WAUGH said. “He’s so well known and loved in the market. MIKE’s a rarity.”
“I joined ‘RNR in 2015 and I’ll always be grateful for STEVE KINGSTON and especially BOB WAUGH for giving me the chance to do what I love," ONDAYKO said. "STEVE (KINGSTON), BOB (WAUGH), ROB TIMM and everyone at ‘RNR make up an incredible team. It's not often that you get an opportunity to be part of such a team at such an awesome indie station. WRNR plays a tremendous variety of really great music that I absolutely love and they have allowed me to be me. You can’t dream of a better gig.”
