After a national search, TOWSON UNIVERSITY Triple A WTMD/BALTIMORE has chosen CARRIE NEUMAN as the station’s newest air host for the weekday 3-7p afternoon shift. NEUMAN had been the popular midday host at Triple A WRNR/ANNAPOLIS for several years.
“CARRIE has a lifelong passion for music, and she brings to air the excitement and enthusiasm of a fan who can’t wait to share new music discoveries with her friends,” said SCOTT MULLINS, WTMD GM/PD. “She is energetic, knowledgeable, fun to listen to and will be a great asset to WTMD.”
NEUMAN moves into the afternoon drive position beginning THURSDAY, AUGUST 15th. She will be joining a team of award-winning air hosts, including her former WRNR colleague, ALEX CORTRIGHT, now WTMD’s morning host, as well as WHFS legend JONATHON “WEASEL” GILBERT, host of WEASEL’S WILD WEEKEND.
“I am more than just thrilled to be coming to BALTIMORE – it simply feels like the most natural thing for me to do,” NEUMAN said. “I humbly join a legendary, music-centric staff that prides itself on discovering and sharing an unprecedented array of music. I am honored for the opportunity to work at WTMD. It’s the musical heartbeat of the city I so love.”
