'SportsChannel8' Moves To Weekday Slot At WCMC-F (99.9 The Fan)/Raleigh-Durham

CAPITOL BROADCASTING Sports WCMC-F (99.9 THE FAN)/RALEIGH-DURHAM is moving weekend show “SPORTSCHANNEL 8: THE RADIO SHOW” to weekdays 10a-noon (ET) beginning AUGUST 15th. The show, hosted by HAYES PERMAR, JOSH GOODSON, and BRIAN GEISINGER with contributors BEN SWAIN and CHRIS "WEATHER MOOSE" MISENIS, has been airing SATURDAYS on the station, and the move gives THE FAN 9 straight hours of local programming each weekday.

To make room for SPORTSCHANNEL 8, ESPN RADIO’s “THE DAN LE BATARD SHOW WITH STUGOTZ,” currently in the 10a-noon slot, will move to sister WCMC-HD2-W243DK-W257CS (BUZZ SPORTS RADIO), where all three hours of the show will air live 10a-1p.

PD/Operations Dir. DENNIS GLASGOW said, “We couldn’t be more excited to add the SPORTSCHANNEL8 brand to our weekday lineup. Not only do we add another two hours a day of outstanding local content, but we’ll also be offering probably one of the most engaging, entertaining and hyper-local shows I have every heard in my six years here in THE TRIANGLE.”
