PD AL PAYNE has parted ways with CUMULUS MEDIA Urban AC KMJK (MAGIC 107.3)/KANSAS CITY.

PAYNE told ALL ACCESS, “Safe to say that I’ve stepped down from the PD post at KMJK to return back EAST. I want to thank MIDWEST RVP/Market Mgr. DONNA BAKER, VP/Operations DOUG HAMAND and the incredible CUMULUS KC team that have helped me set up MAGIC 107.3 for greatness. I anticipate happy times ahead for them.”

His programming resume includes BEASLEY WMGC/DETROIT, RADIO ONE/BALTIMORE (WERQ & WWIN), ALPHA MEDIA/LOUISVILLE (WGHL, WGZB, & WMJM), RADIO ONE/RICHMOND, RADIO ONE/DETROIT (WGPR & WDMK), WKYS/WASHINGTON, D.C., WQMG/GREENSBORO, and KRNB/DALLAS.
