SIRIUSXM CANADA's 10th annual SIRIUSXM Top Comic competition has announced the 18 semi-finalists in the running this year, with online public voting opening TODAY at 10a (ET) and running through AUGUST 30th.

Eight finalists will compete live onstage at the Top Comic Finale at JFL42 in TORONTO on SEPTEMBER 26th, featuring headliner DEANNE SMITH and last year's winner CHANTY MAROSTICA. The grand prize will include $25,000, slots in the lineup at JFL42, JFL SYDNEY, JFL NORTHWEST, and the flagship JUST FOR LAUGHS MONTREAL festival, plus inclusion in a JFL TV taping. Two runners-up will get $2,500 each and slots at JFL42, JFL NORTHWEST, and JUST FOR LAUGHS MONTREAL.

The 2019 semi-finalists, chosen from a field of 60 comics, are BRANDON ASH-MOHAMMED; KEVIN BANNER; DREW BEHM; KYLE BOTTOM; SOPHIE BUDDLE; ADAM CHRISTIE; OLA DADA; COURTNEY GILMOUR; NIGEL GRINSTEAD; ANDREA JIN; CHRIS LOCKE; NATALIE NORMAN; CHRIS ROBINSON; JESS SALOMON; STERLING SCOTT; KELLY TAYLOR; MATTY VU; and ALEX WOOD.
