STEVE HAUSMANN, co-host of ENTERCOM Country WBEE/ROCHESTER’s “THE BEE MORNING COFFEE CLUB,” has announced plans to retire after a radio career that has spanned more than five decades. His last day on the air will be FRIDAY, AUGUST 30th. His morning co-hosts, JEREMY NEWMAN and TJ SHARP, remain in place.
HAUSMANN marked his 50th anniversary in broadcasting last year. His career has included stops at WHDH/BOSTON, and a 10-year stint as weekend sports anchor at ROCHESTER TV station WHEC. He joined WBEE in 2001 and, since 2004, has been co-host of the morning show.
ENTERCOM/ROCHESTER VP/Programming BOB BARNETT is on the hunt for a replacement, and the job is posted here.
