GEORGE PLASTER's return to daily NASHVILLE radio in afternoons on RYMAN HOSPITALITY PROPERTIES Country WSM-A has ended only a month after it began.
PLASTER, the longtime sports talker best known for his "SPORTS NIGHT" shows at CUMULUS News-Talk WWTN (SUPER TALK 99.7 WTN) and Sports WGFX (104.5 THE ZONE) and CROMWELL GROUP Sports WPRT (102.5 THE GAME), left radio in 2016 to work as Associate Athletics Dir./Marketing at BELMONT UNIVERSITY, but returned at WSM for a weekend show in 2017 and launched the weekday show on JULY 15th. He announced in a tweet TUESDAY (8/13) that he and WSM had parted ways and that he will be launching a podcast around LABOR DAY.
Sorry to pass this long, but I have parted ways with WSM-AM. My intention is to begin a podcast with a target around Labor Day. Thanks to all of you who supported us.
