Chelsea Byrd And Shaye Ganam To Replace Retiring Bruce Bowie In Mornings At CHED/Edmonton

CORUS News-Talk CHED-A/EDMONTON's replacements for the retiring BRUCE BOWIE (NET NEWS 8/2) in mornings will be former sister Country CISN (COUNTRY 103.9) and crosstown BELL MEDIA Top 40 CFMG (104.9 VIRGIN RADIO) host CHELSEA BYRD and sister CITV (GLOBAL EDMONTON) news anchor SHAYE GANAM. The new show will debut SEPTEMBER 3rd.
“I would like to thank all the viewers of GLOBAL EDMONTON for tuning in every day and putting your trust in me as a conduit for news in our lively community,” said GANAM. “I am excited to embark on this new journey in radio and join my talented and versatile co-host, CHELSEA BIRD.”
BIRD added, “While following in the footsteps of radio legend BRUCE BOWIE is no small feat, I am absolutely thrilled to continue my career in broadcasting on the 630 CHED morning show."
