Libsyn Revenues, Income Rise For Second Quarter

LIBERATED SYNDICATION (LIBSYN) second quarter revenue rose 7% year-to-year to $5.7 million, with the LIBSYN hosting platform contributing $3.6 million and PAIR NETWORKS responsible for $2.1 million. Net income increased from $822,566 to $847,979 (per share flat at 3 cents).
“Continued growth in unique monthly audiences and notable new content at LIBSYN, coupled with strong operating performance at PAIR, drove LIBERATED SYNDICATION’s robust second quarter financial results,” said CEO CHRIS SPENCER. “We have made great strides executing on our growth strategy, including launching a Spanish language podcast and further engaging with an ever-growing listener base. Our focus on offering our expanding customer base industry-leading services through LIBSYN and PAIR fuels our confidence in our ability to continue delivering in the second half of 2019 for our podcasters, our listeners, and our shareholders.”
LIBSYN's podcast roster increased to 64,000 during the quarter, with unique monthly audiences up to 116 million for 5.4 million episodes on the platform.
