Jerry O'Neill Retires From University Of Central Florida Football Broadcasts

JERRY O'NEILL has announced his retirement from the radio team for UNIVERSITY OF CENTRAL FLORIDA football. O'NEILL had been with UCF for 24 seasons, most recently as sideline reporter and pre-game host. He announced his retirement on MARC DANIELS' show on UCF football flagship iHEARTMEDIA Sports WYGM-A-W245CL (96.9 THE GAME)/ORLANDO.
With O'NEILL's retirement, 18-year UCF broadcast veteran SCOTT ADAMS takes his place as pre-game host and sideline reporter and former UCF defensive lineman and NFL player LEGER DOUZABLE joins the crew as analyst, working the sidelines and pre-game shows for all home games and the road game at FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY. Producer CHRIS VASQUEZ has been upped to Executive Producer, and assistant producer TOM MORGAN will handle all UCF talk shows for football and basketball season and will produce all men’s basketball and baseball radio broadcasts.
DANIELS and GARY PARRIS will be back to call the KNIGHTS games.
