Get Well Wishes To Country Artist Drake White

ALL ACCESS sends get well wishes to Country artist DRAKE WHITE, who fell ill on stage over the weekend while opening for TRIPLE TIGERS’ SCOTTY MCCREERY on tour in ROANOKE, VA on FRIDAY (8/16), and missed a show the following night in MYRTLE BEACH, SC as a result. According to CNN, WHITE was “rushed to the hospital after he almost collapsed on stage while performing” at ROANOKE’s ELMWOOD PARK venue. “He stopped mid-performance when he felt lightheaded and couldn't stand up, tour manager ANDREW STONE told CNN affiliate WDBJ.”

WHITE later posted on TWITTER and INSTAGRAM, ”Hey friends — sorry we had to cut it short tonight. I'm getting checked out by some of ROANOKE’s finest docs and will keep you posted. Thanks for your prayers and continued support. Love ya!" On Saturday, he posted, “Hey MYRTLE BEACH! I’m still resting up in ROANOKE so unfortunately we won’t be able to play for you tonight. Looking forward to rescheduling soon though. Thanks for your good vibes.”

On MONDAY (8/19), WHITE updated fans that he plans to "take some time to rest up," adding, "I can't wait to get back out there with y'all." He did not address the nature of his illness.

His next scheduled tour date is FRIDAY, AUGUST 23rd in SALINA. KS, and he has five upcoming shows in AUSTRALIA in SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER.
