Carrie Underwood To Host CMA Awards With Reba McEntire And Dolly Parton

CARRIE UNDERWOOD will host "The 53rd Annual CMA Awards" with guest hosts DOLLY PARTON and REBA McENTIRE in celebration of legendary women in Country music. The news came as a surprise to many, since UNDERWOOD has hosted the awards show since 2008 with BRAD PAISLEY. Watch the announcement video here.
“It’s an incredible honor to welcome CARRIE, REBA and DOLLY to the CMA Awards stage this year,” said CMA CEO SARAH TRAHERN. “In addition to awarding the year’s best and brightest in the genre, ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’ will celebrate the legacy of women within Country music, and we couldn’t think of a more dynamic group of women to host the show.”
The show will be broadcast live from NASHVILLE's BRIDGESTONE ARENA on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13th at 7p (CT) on ABC-TV. Final nominees will be revealed on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28th and ABC's "Good Morning America" and via livesteam.
