Columbia Names Azim Rashid SVP/Urban Promotion

COLUMBIA RECORDS has tapped AZIM RASHID for SVP/Urban Promotion. His responsibilities will be the Urban Promotion department and the COLUMBIA roster at Urban radio. He was most recently ROC NATION's SVP/Promotions (NET NEWS 5/23).

Promotion/Operations SVP JIM BURRESS said, "AZIM is renowned as both a sharp promotion executive and a respected figure in urban music with a phenomenal track record of launching artists at radio. On behalf of the entire Promotion team, I'm very excited to welcome him to the COLUMBIA RECORDS family."
