Downtown Music Holdings Finds Bigger, Better Digs In The Big Apple

DOWNTOWN MUSIC HOLDINGS is moving into new and bigger headquarters at 155 Avenue of the Americas in NEW YORK CITY, occupying the top two floors of the building. The privately held DOWNTOWN includes DOWNTOWN MUSIC PUBLISHING, SONGTRUST, AVL DIGITAL GROUP and DOWNTOWN MUSIC STUDIOS -- and its new digs are twice as large as its current space.

“Our business has strong roots here in NEW YORK as the global music industry’s cultural and economic center," DOWNTOWN MUSIC HOLDINGS CEO JUSTIN KALIFOWITZ said. "With our new headquarters just a few blocks from where we first started in SOHO, DOWNTOWN can continue advancing our mission to create a more equitable and innovative music ecosystem around the world, while supporting the growth of our diverse music industry here at home.” 

At the same time, DOWNTOWN MUSIC PUBLISHING’s Australian team has finalized new deals with TAKA PERRY and CHARLOTTE GEMMILL (aka ELIOTT).
