Grand Ole Opry Celebrates Dolly Parton's 50th Anniversary As A Member

The GRAND OLE OPRY will celebrate DOLLY PARTON's 50th anniversary as an OPRY member by hosting an exclusive exhibit, titled "DOLLY: My Opry Memories," which will run from TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd through THURSDAY, OCTOBER 31st at the OPRY HOUSE in NASHVILLE. The exhibit will feature 24 wardrobe pieces PARTON has worn on the OPRY stage over the last 50 years. Additionally, the OPRY's historic STUDIO A will showcase videos of the singer discussing her favorite OPRY memories, alongside rare performance clips.

As part of the anniversary celebration, RYMAN HOSPITALITY WSM-A/NASHVILLE will flip its "OPRY NASHVILLE" streaming channel to "DOLLY RADIO" during the dates of the exhibit. The stream will feature the music legend’s many hits, past OPRY performances, archived interviews, special features from fellow artists, and more. Tune in via WSMonline.com and the station’s mobile app.

As an additional part of the celebration, THE OPRY SHOP -- also located at the OPRY HOUSE -- will feature a collection of 11 custom-designed items for women, men and children celebrating PARTON's milestone anniversary.
