Legendary singer JACKIE WILSON will get a star on the HOLLYWOOD HALL of FAME on WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 4th at 11:30a PT. Walk of Famer and renown MOTOWN honcho BERRY GORDY JR., MARSHALL THOMPSON of THE CHI-LITES and Walk of Famer SMOKEY ROBINSON will be guest speakers at the ceremony; JACKIE WILSON’s widow, HARLANE HARRIS WILSON, will accept the award.

“The late, great JACKIE WILSON is one of the most important and influential recording artists of his generation!” HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME Producer ANA MARTINEZ said. He is a man who broke barriers and inspired many young singers.” ADDED MARTINEZ.

While event will be live-streamed exclusively on www.walkoffame.com, a new posthumous Jackie Wilson album will be released.
