DAVE GROSBY, known as "THE GROZ" in his 29 years on SEATTLE sports radio, is retiring from his daily show on BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE, with his last day on the "BOB, GROZ AND TOM SHOW" being SEPTEMBER 20th.
GROSBY cited health reasons for his departure, although he added that he will be heard on the station daily in his 11:45a (PT) segment with football insider JOHN CLAYTON and will fill in and guest on other 710 ESPN shows.
GROSBY joined 710 ESPN in 2010 after a long run at crosstown Sports KJR-A from 1991 through 2010 (with a stint at KIRO-A in 1993-96). He most recently co-hosted middays with BOB STELTON and TOM WASSELL and was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease last last year.
