Maren Morris Tops Nominees For ‘The 53rd Annual CMA Awards’

MAREN MORRIS tops the nominees for “THE 53RD ANNUAL CMA AWARDS” with six nods. The nominations were announced this morning (8/28). This is MORRIS’ second time leading the CMA nominee pack in four years, Her new nominations (for Album Of The Year, Female Vocalist Of The Year, Single Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Music Video Of The Year, and Musical Event Of The Year) are added to her 10 previous nominations and one win.

BROTHERS OSBORNE received four nominations. This year’s triple nominees include artists DIERKS BENTLEY, ERIC CHURCH, LUKE COMBS, DAN + SHAY, KACEY MUSGRAVES, BLAKE SHELTON, CHRIS STAPLETON and CARRIE UNDERWOOD, along with producer and WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE executive SCOTT HENDRICKS, producer/musician DANN HUFF and songwriter, producer and mix engineer GREG KURSTIN.
