Changes at both iHEARTMEDIA Sports KGME-A (FOX SPORTS 910) and HUBBARD Sports KDUS-A (NBC SPORTS RADIO 1060 AM)/PHOENIX are coming next week.
DAN PATRICK's syndicated show is moving from KGME, where it has been airing 7-10a (MT), to KDUS, where it joins its syndicated stablemate "THE RICH EISEN SHOW," already airing on the station; at KGME, afternoon host JODY OEHLER's "THE DRIVE" will move from afternoons 4-7p to mornings 6-10a replacing PATRICK and one hour of CLAY TRAVIS' FOX SPORTS RADIO show, beginning SEPTEMBER 3rd. TRAVIS will continue to air 3-6a on KGME.
On OEHLER's move to mornings, iHEARTMEDIA PHOENIX Market President LINDA LITTLE said, "JODY is, without a doubt, a sports talk pro who just tells it like it is, and what better way to start your mornings in PHOENIX if you’re a sports fan? Moving JODY OEHLER to mornings on FOX SPORTS 910 was a no-brainer, and now sports fans have a place to start the day with the biggest stories in sports.”
“I’m incredibly excited to be moving to mornings,” said OEHLER. “In a city like PHOENIX with all the local teams and transplant residents, I relish the opportunity to offer my reaction to the biggest local and national sporting events. We’ll do it better than anyone in the market with truth, humor and fun. And as a bonus, I won’t get into a near fist fight with myself on the air.”
