The DESERT SUN reports that ALPHA MEDIA News-Talk KNWZ-A-K284CR-KNWQ-A-K232CX-KNWH-A-K279CO (K-NEWS 94.3 104.7)/PALM SPRINGS host BILL FEINGOLD is on short-term disability leave from the station while he battles stage four liver cancer.
FEINGOLD, who hosts mornings with KEVIN HOLMES, posted on FACEBOOK that he was diagnosed with a "very aggressive" cancer that has metastasized to his colon, lungs, and liver. He said that he will be occasionally calling in to the show and added, "this is not goodbye... the fight is beginning."
He told the DESERT SUN that his chemotherapy is scheduled to begin on SEPTEMBER 12th, three days before his 70th birthday.
