KUZZ/Bakersfield Implements Program To Support New Artists

BUCK OWEN PRODUCTIONS Country KUZZ/BAKERSFIELD has launched a new artist exposure initiative called “On the Rise.” The program will feature six new artists throughout the year, selected to receive significant daytime rotation, artist-specific imaging, personalized social media interaction and a performance at BUCK OWENS' CRYSTAL PALACE. Each artist will be featured for six consecutive weeks, beginning with WARNER MUSIC NASHVILLE/WEA's INGRID ANDRESS, starting MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2nd.

“KUZZ has always been a station that believes in developing a relationship between an artist and our listening audience,” said KUZZ PD BRENT MICHAELS. “In a very crowded landscape that has become more challenging, how do we set an artist we believe in apart? This program addresses that and shows our commitment to those songs and artists that we feel strongly about.”

The second “On The Rise” campaign will begin on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27th.
