The NATIONAL LAMPOON RADIO HOUR is returning, this time as a podcast produced with the FOREVER DOG podcast network, and VARIETY reports that comedians COLE ESCOLA ("AT HOME WITH AMY SEDARIS," "SEARCH PARTY") and JO FIRESTONE have been hired to appear on the show and serve as producers. ESCOLA will also serve as head writer and FIRESTONE will be senior writer for the show, which will be a half-hour podcast.
The NATIONAL LAMPOON brand was sold to PALMSTAR in 2017 for $12 million. VARIETY adds that the companies are also partnering to develop video versions of other FOREVER DOG podcasts.
