New Name
As the storm approaches FLORIDA, HUBBARD Sports WMEN-A (640 THE HURRICANE)/WEST PALM BEACH has rebranded as FOX SPORTS 640 SOUTH FLORIDA.
On its FACEBOOK page, the station said, "New name, same great games! Catch the YANKEES, FAU, The FLORIDA PANTHERS, and the NFL right here!! We are FOX SPORTS SOUTH FLORIDA!" The station picked up FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball this season, replacing its affiliation with the UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI HURRICANES football network (NET NEWS 7/10).
