Flashback To Classic WCFL-A/Chicago On Labor Day Weekend

WCFLchicago.com will celebrate its sixth year as "An historical audio document" of the late, great Top 40 station and feature a "Voice of LABOR DAY Weekend" starting today (8/30) at 3p CT and running through TUESDAY morning (9/3).  

The sounds of heritage of AM-1000, once owned by THE CHICAGO FEDERATION OF LABOR, will feature un-telescoped "airchecks" of many 'CFL DJs in stereo, the original TM Studios jingles, the BATMAN spoof "CHICKENMAN" and classic commercials like one with SHELLY LONG (CHEERS) for HOMEMAKERS FURNITURE, HARRY CARAY for LA PREFERITA sauces and screamers for GREAT LAKES and U.S.-30 drag strips.

The station can be heard via FREE APPS for APPLE and ANDROID, as well as the WCFLchicago.com website which features many photos of the staff at the MARINA CITY Studios and the DOWNERS GROVE transmitter site.
