METV FM is launching two shows that mirror music trends of late '70s and early '80s -- Yacht Rock, which airs 6-9p, features soft AC hits of the ‘70s and ‘80s (such as HALL & OATES, FLEETWOOD MAC, KENNY LOGGINS, THE DOOBIE BROTHERS and CHRISTOPHER CROSS); and Dance with Me (9p-1a), which features dance classics from the likes of DONNA SUMMER, THE BEE GEES, K.C. AND THE SUNSHINE BAND and KOOL & THE GANG.

“These shows are a fun alternative to what our listeners enjoy the rest of the week, an acknowledgment that listeners’ lifestyles and routines are different on the weekend,” METV FM/CHICAGO PD RICK O’DELL said. “The songs and demographics of both shows are a perfect match for an adult audience.”
