ENTERCOM Sports WFAN-A-F/NEW YORK afternoon host MIKE FRANCESA will close his app and move his content to RADIO.COM on OCTOBER 1st, as ENTERCOM has purchased FRANCESA's "MIKE'S ON" subscription streaming service. The app and subscription service debuted in 2018 after FRANCESA's return to WFAN as a partnership between FRANCESA, ENTERCOM, and CAA SPORTS, and charged $8.99 per month or $98.99 per year for audio and video streaming of the WFAN show and additional content. The app and content will be offered free all SEPTEMBER.
“MIKE FRANCESA is a legend, and we are beyond thrilled to bring more MIKE to RADIO.COM,” said ENTERCOM Chief Digital Officer J.D. CROWLEY. “MIKE has some of the most loyal, engaged fans in all of sports, thanks to his unique ability to build a broad audience with must-listen, highly compelling audio content, always calling it like it is.
“The ability to tap into MIKE’s immediate, live reactions to the biggest moments in sports, combined with the vast library of audio and video content this deal brings to the platform, further cement RADIO.COM as one of the leading digital audio platforms in the U.S. for creators, audiences, and advertisers alike.”
