HUBBARD RADIO's WEST PALM BEACH cluster is raising funds and supplies for victims of Hurricane Dorian in the BAHAMAS, partnering with the AMERICAN RED CROSS. The event will collect first aid kits, cleaning supplies, canned goods, box fans, flash lights, leather work gloves, hand sanitizer, non-perishable food, water, tarps, tents, diapers, and wipes, plus cash donations to be shipped to the BAHAMAS with the help of GOOD GREEK MOVING & STORAGE. Collection will take place TODAY and TOMORROW in the HUBBARD RADIO parking lot in WEST PALM BEACH.
“The images coming out of the BAHAMAS are absolutely heartbreaking,” said SVP/Market Manager ELIZABETH HAMMA. “The BAHAMAS are a special place to the people of SOUTH FLORIDA, and we feel fortunate to be able to use our seven radio stations that were spared in the storm to help deliver relief quickly.”
WRMF "THE KVJ SHOW" host KEVIN ROLSTON added, “When you live in the CARIBBEAN, you are family, even if you’re not in the same country. We both enjoy the beauty and devastation of our climate. What the BAHAMAS has gone through is unfathomable and unprecedented, but they will not go through it alone. We will show them love by taking the supplies that we ourselves had collected for the storm and giving it to them. But this is the first step, the KVJ SHOW and HUBBARD RADIO will be with the BAHAMAS as they rebuild back to being even stronger than they were before.”
The cluster includes Hot AC WRMF, Country WIRK-F (NEW COUNTRY 103.1), Classic Hits WEAT (SUNNY 107.9), Urban WMBX (X102.3), Top 40 WMBX-HD2-W242CI (PARTY 96.3), News-Talk WFTL-A, and Sports WMEN-A (FOX SPORTS 640).
