KUER/Salt Lake City's 'RadioWest' Returning As Weekly Show

UNIVERSITY OF UTAH Variety KUER/SALT LAKE CITY's long-running "RADIOWEST" is returning to the station after a SUMMER hiatus, with a few changes announced by host DOUG FABRIZIO.

The show, formerly a daily program, will return SEPTEMBER 13th but as a weekly show airing FRIDAYS 11a-1p (MT). In addition, a one-hour version will air on FRIDAY evenings at 7p and a repeat will air SATURDAYS at 11a, and the show will be available as a podcast.

In a note to listeners, FABRIZIO said, "We knew we could do those things better as a weekly program. Don’t get me wrong: Daily shows can be wonderful. But here’s the thing: Daily programs are also very challenging. They require a level of energy and preparation that leaves little room to make every episode feel as meaningful and surprising to listeners as possible.... I feel excited and recharged — and hopeful that you’ll give this new chapter of the show a chance. I’m glad you’ll be with us as we explore new territory."
