An Arrest Made Related To Death Of Hip-Hop Artist Mac Miller

The DEA and the LOS ANGELES PD have arrested a man in connection to the death of Hip Hop artist MAC MILLER. CAMERON JAMES PETTIT is charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance. PETTIT allegedly sold counterfeit oxycodone to MILLER that contained fentanyl.

MAC MILLER was found unresponsive at his home in STUDIO CITY, CA on SEPTEMBER 7, 2018. The LOS ANGELES COUNTY MEDICAL EXAMINER-CORONER's autopsy determined that MILLER had died of mixed drug toxicity involving fentanyl, cocaine and alcohol.
