Bender's 'On The Road Again' For Seattle Children’s Hospital

Former iHEARTRADIO Top 40 KBKS (KISS-FM)/SEATTLE morning host BENDER is continuing his good work -- now on his own -- by raising money for SEATTLE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL and its UNCOMPENSATED CARE FUND. On SATURDAY, AUGUST 31st, BENDER -- a free agent since late last year -- started walking across the state of WASHINGTON, beginning at the WA/ID state line and heading west. At day six he had walked 140 miles and raised nearly $40,000 in donations.  

BENDER’S WALK FOR THE KIDS is expected to take 22 days to reach SEATTLE. “Walking on behalf of families and their kids is the easy part," he said. "Raising money and awareness for SEATTLE CHILDREN'S UNCOMPENSATED CARE FUND is the challenge. Our goal is $100,000!”
