WWKA/Orlando Afternoon Host AJ Maguire Departs

COX MEDIA GROUP Country WWKA (K92.3)/ORLANDO afternoon host AJ MAGUIRE departed on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th for an as-yet-unannounced new gig. He had been with the station since 2012, initially in mornings before moving to afternoons in 2016 (NET NEWS 9/27/16). Night host MELISSA is handling afternoons on an interim basis at K92.3.

Prior to WWKA. MAGUIRE worked at OASIS RADIO Country WBTU (US 93.3)/FORT WAYNE, where he was morning host and APD. He has also made stops at (then) CLEAR CHANNEL Country KSWF/SPRINGFIELD, MO, SIMMONS MEDIA Country KEGA/SALT LAKE CITY, ENTERCOM Country KWJJ/PORTLAND, OR and CUMULUS Country KPLX/DALLAS.
