Chris Daniel Exits KMJ/Fresno In 'Semi-Retirement'

CUMULUS News-Talk KMJ-A-F/FRESNO afternoon host CHRIS DANIEL has resigned from the station after over 10 years in what he calls a "semi-retirement" from radio. DANIEL joined KMJ in 2008 after several years co-hosting with BRAD GIESE at CLEAR CHANNEL Rock KRZR/FRESNO and a brief stint with GIESE in middays at CBS RADIO Talk KIFR (106.9 FREE FM)/SAN FRANCISCO.

In a message to listeners, DANIEL said that he had been thinking about "moving on to some other things that I’d like to do" for the last couple of years, resulting in the extended leave he has been on, and that if he ever does return to radio, "my first and only call will be to KMJ."

Co-host and producer PHILIP TERESI is now hosting afternoons on KMJ.
